    Prizes

Unless otherwise noted, scheduled events will have a prize pool of 2 boosters per player and Qualifier Tournaments will have a prize pool of 3 boosters per player. Prizes awarded will be based on match points and will be determined once the Final Standings have been displayed following the last Swiss round. The minimum number of points required to guarantee a prize is shown in the table below.

Number of Rounds Minimum Points Required
    3 6+
    4 & 5 9+
    6 & 7 12+
    8 15+

    Pro Tour Qualifiers

Get a head start on the 2007 season by qualifying for Pro Tour-Geneva and Pro Tour-Yokohama. Each day at Worlds features a Pro Tour Qualifier -- three to Geneva and two to Yokohama. The top two finishers in each PTQ receive an invitation and airfare to the Pro Tour. Pro Tour-Geneva qualifiers are Time Spiral Sealed Deck with a Booster Draft Top 8, and Yokohama qualifiers are Extended. As an added bonus, the winners of the Geneva PTQs also win a Magic snowboard!

    Grand Prix Trials

    # of Players # of 3-round byes
    8 - 32 1
    33 - 64 2
    64 - 128 4
    128+ 8

Trials for individual-format Grand Prix tournaments award at least one three-round bye to a specific Grand Prix tournament for one or more of the top-finishing competitors. The number of three-round byes awarded will be determined by the number of players in the Trial as shown in the table to the right. Grand Prix Trial byes no longer pass down. If a player who already possesses a three-round bye finishes high enough to win another bye at a Grand Prix Trial, that bye will not be passed down to the next eligible player.

    Historical Events

All scheduled Time Spiral Limited events (including PTQs and GP Trials) are designated Historical Events. Top 4 players (or top 2 teams of 2HG format) of these events will win an invite for the special Revised-Renaissance Limited event on Sunday!

    Get Your Card Stamped!

Every visitor at Worlds will receive a Side Event stamp card (non transferable). One stamp is awarded per side event participation. A full card will contain 5 stamps and is valid for one complimentary participation in an 8-player single elimination tournament (constructed or draft).
