Legacy Modern Sneak and Show

The letter I!'ve heard that the best thing you can do for a joke is to explain it, so here goes:

Joel Larsson is often called "Swedish Kibler" because he's Swedish and looks like Brian Kibler—simple enough.

After Joel's second-place finish at Pro Tour Gatecrash, people joked that maybe now they'd have to start calling Brian Kibler "American Joel Larsson." Of course, Joel's nickname had already stuck, so "American Swedish Kibler" was suggested a better alternative.

If I remember correctly, Tom Martell, in a moment of brilliance following his Pro Tour win created a "Swedish Kibler" twitter account that translates Kibler's tweets to Swedish, and an "American Swedish Kibler" account that translates those tweets back to English.

Yesterday, I wrote about a Modern deck that I called "Modern Sneak and Show," a Modern deck that looks like Sneak and Show. Today I'm going to write about a deck that might be what you'd get if you translated Sneak and Show to Modern, and then back to Legacy, if Google translate somehow manages to find a way to convert decks from one format to another.

Like its Modern counterpart, this deck looks to win after getting a single hit in with Griselbrand. The difference that makes this deck more powerful is that it probably doesn't even need Griselbrand to survive a combat—it should be able to win on the spot even if the opponent has a removal spell for Griselbrand right away. Also, it can theoretically win without using Griselbrand at all, just by playing like a normal storm deck and killing with Tendrils of Agony. Although, realistically, that looks extremely unlikely.

The card in this deck that caught my attention was Children of Korlis, which it makes excellent use of to draw seven or fourteen cards once Griselbrand is in play, which is adorable. The second one draws even more, which should always get through your library.

This deck is essentially just Reanimator, but it has some advantages—like not caring about Karakas.
