Black-White Tokens

The letter T!oday marks my first appearance as the author of Daily Decks, so I decided to kick things off with a deck that is near and dear to my heart: BW Tokens. Granted, the deck may no longer feature Bitterblossom, but this is more an update to the Standard list I played at PT Kyoto than a new deck.

The deck is based on the combination of Honor of the Pure and Intangible Virtue, which make Lingering Souls, Spectral Procession, Midnight Haunting, and Raise the Alarm into huge threats (and Lingering Souls doesn't need much help). Auriok Champion and Windbrisk Heights offer more token synergy, gaining a ton of life and giving the deck free spells at a very low cost.

Past the token part, this deck also gets to play a ton of cards that are awesome in their own right. Tidehollow Sculler and Deathrite Shaman do plenty of work on their own, and Path to Exile and Thoughtseize disrupt the opponent's plans very effectively. I would be interested in adding Dark Confidant, as it's one of the best cards in the format, but besides that I like the look of this deck (and think it's especially sweet that it plays the underutilized Patrician's Scorn in its sideboard!).
