TCGPlayer.com columnist Christopher Morris-Lent has been hard at work looking for the best place to put Tibalt, the Fiend Blooded. In his recent article, he looks through several different uses for the brand new Planeswalker. One strategy that stuck out at him? Burning Vengeance!

Tibalt works extraordinarily well with flashback cards. Discarding at random loses its sting when the cards you're discarding can still be played out of your graveyard. Tibalt's first ability lets you sift through your deck at breakneck pace, filling your graveyard and hand with flashback cards alike.

Newcomers Reforge the Soul and Desolate Lighthouse also make an appearance. Similar to Tibalt, both cards allow you to see tons of extra cards and fill up your graveyard accordingly. However, Reforge and the Lighthouse give you more control over what you're drawing instead of discarding at random, meaning you can find your key card: Burning Vengeance.

Once your graveyard is stocked, Burning Vengeance starts looking extremely dangerous. You should be able to flashback one or more cards every turn, quickly burning your opponent's creatures—or just your opponent—to a crisp.

If Burning Vengeance isn't your style, check out Christopher's article for more takes on Tibalt. Otherwise, make sure to check out the decklist below—and don't miss Daily Decks all this week as we look over decks featuring Avacyn Restored cards!
