B/G and B/W. Both were good but not great. Very tough table on day 2, so happy to escape 5-1.

What Constructed deck are you playing, and why?
Junk Rares. It has the most bombs, Green for fixing, Black for removal, and White for powerful threats.

What, if any, Constructed decks surprised you this weekend?
None.

What has been your best memory of this event so far?
Seeing my CFB Pantheon teammates Reid Duke and Jamie Parke top 8.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?
An invitation to compete in the World Championship. My dream in Magic is to be the World Champion and Three wins tomorrow qualifies me for a shot.

When I realized that Fall of the Hammer for 4 doesn’t kill Polukranos.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?
I don’t know yet, but it would be super sweet winning another one.

Czech guys + Ivan Floch. They were great teammates.

BUG Control. It featured many of the best cards in the format and is the best deck for Prognostic Sphinx.

Stanislav Cifka and Ivan Floch playing WR Heroic.

What has been your best memory of this event so far?
Making my first Top 8 alongside my friends, teammates and role models: Patrick Chapin and Jamie Parke.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?
Everything. The achievement of a lifetime.

I started 2-3, then I won 10 matches in a row.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?
Just an extension of my hobby.

Both were UG, very similar decks with tempo cards, flash creatures and good late game.

What Constructed deck are you playing, and why?
Naya, it beat the aggro deck, like Mono-Red, WU, Mono-Black, but I’ve never played against aggro.

What, if any, Constructed decks surprised you this weekend?
UB Inspired, Levy is a master in new brew.

What has been your best memory of this event so far?
When I beat Reid Duke in Round 12, going 11-1, he’s my favorite player and I was so happy to beat him.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?
A dream come true, and so much money that I definitely don’t know how to spend.

Who did you prepare with?
It was split between Italians and Americans. With Giusti and the other Italians in Warsaw and the team Through the Gate, with captain Mike Sigrist here in Atlanta

Junk Enchantress, because we predicted the wrong metagame.

BUG Control. In our playtest, it loses to Junk Enchantress and Mono Black.

What has been your best memory of this event so far?
Round 14, chaining Eidolon of Blossoms into Courser of Kruphix into Herald of Torment to kill the opponent’s Elspeth.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?
It is my second Pro Tour. I did not make Day 2 at the first one. This would prove my play skill.

Team MTG Mint Card (Kuo Tzu Ching, Chapman Sim, Lee Shi Tian, Park Jun Young, Yam Wing Chun, Kevin Chew, Ryan Young, Goa Tam, Han Bing). Good friends and good team. Thank you to my team!

UB. The deck was good, but not great, but it went 3-0.RG. The deck was atrocious and I went 1-2.

BUG Control. It’s playing as many of the format’s best cards as possible, and they form a coherent and consistent strategy.

What, if any, Constructed decks surprised you this weekend?
The biggest surprise was the Thassa’s Ire infinite combo getting played. It was something we had joked about but never considered it as something you could realistically do.

What has been your best memory of this event so far?
Hearing my name called for the Top 8.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?
It’s what all of the weeks of preparation and travel and years and years of learning are for. I’m here to join the storied list of Pro Tour champions.
