The letter T!o the news—Pro Tour Journey into Nyx changed up the Magic Top 25 Pro Rankings from top to bottom, so let's get to it. The headlines:

Reid Duke claims the No. 1 spot, toppling Jérémy Dezani: The emotions when Reid Duke claimed his first Pro Tour Top 8 were quite something in Atlanta, and although his Sunday could have gone better (an unfortunate quarterfinal exit), he had still done enough to enter the final phase of the Pro season as the world's No. 1.

Champion Chapin enters at No. 9: Patrick Chapin was unstoppable at the Pro Tour, dominating the Swiss rounds before sealing the deal in the Top 8, claiming victory in his fifth Pro Tour Top 8. His win lifts him straight into the Top 10 at No. 9, while finalist Nam Sung Wook of South Korea is just a fraction of a point away from joining the exclusive leaderboard.

Big moves for Cifka, Utter-Leyton, and Rietzl: Pro Tour Return to Ravnica champion Stanislav Cifka and reigning Player of the Year Josh Utter-Leyton were drawn against each other in the quarterfinals. Josh emerged from that fight, but Cifka narrowly holds the world No. 3 slot, with Utter-Leyton at No. 4. Meanwhile, Paul Rietzl, who was mostly out of the spotlight in Atlanta, crafted an excellent weekend that saw him finish 13th, lifting him eleven places to No. 8.

Boettcher joins the elite: Jared Boettcher, coming off a 9th-place at Pro Tour Born of the Gods, put together another terrific run, drawing his final round to secure 10th place in Atlanta, and giving him a large lead at the top of the Rookie of the Year race. He joins the Rankings at No. 23.

Unlucky 13: Thirteen of the Top 25 from last week fell back. Ben Stark went from No. 4 to No. 10, Yuuya Watanabe also dropped six places to No. 14, while Lee Shi Tian, Willy Edel, and Jacob Wilson all fell five spots. As for David Ochoa and Makihito Mihara, they now have work to do to regain their place in the Top 25.

So, that's it—a whirlwind tour of a whirlwind Pro Tour. Join us next week for more, as Grand Prix Atlanta looks to shake up the Magic Top 25 Pro Rankings.
